What type of insurance do you take?

We are in network with Medicare (accepts assignment), Tri Care Standard, Workers Comp (with authorization) and all PPO insurances except Health Net and Blue Cross (we accept Health Net and Blue Cross, but are not in network with them).

Do you take HMO insurance?

No, but with authorization we can take John Muir, Tri Care Prime and BRMS.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday through Friday
8:00 am to 5:00 pm

How long do your therapy sessions last?

Each visit runs about an hour long.

Do I need a referral?

Yes. California state law states that in order for a licensed physical therapist to treat a patient, a referral is required from a medical professional (ie: general practitioner, orthopedic specialist).

What type of payments do you accept?

Cash, checks, and/or money orders (We do not accept credit cards)

Does your clinic offer water therapy?

Yes, our office offers  a state-of-the-art HydroWorx 500 series indoor pool with an underwater treadmill.

Is your pool indoor and is it heated?

Yes, the pool is in-doors and it is kept at 93 degrees.

What is the size of your pool?

14' long, 7'6" side, 3.5' to 4.5' deep.

Does your pool have stairs, and what if I need assistance getting in and out of the pool?

Yes, we have a set of 4 stairs going and out of the pool. We offer a mechanical lift for patient unable to stand or take stairs. If a patient needs extra assistance a therapist can go into the pool with them.

Do you offer independent private pay pool use?

Yes, as long as you have a current referral from a doctor, we offer different packages for different prices depending on how many sessions are pre-paid, how long you want to use the pool, and how much assistance you need while in the pool. (please call for current plans and prices)

How many therapists do you have at your facility?

Currently we have 2 full time DPT's and 1 full time PTA. Joan Arieta (owner and one of the full time DPTs) is a credentialed clinical instructor by the APTA, making our clinic a teaching facility. She has contracted with UOP, so on occasion we will have a physical therapist intern.
